It is not about how many millions of followers they have!

It is about what they can do for us.

Twitter celebs are often busy, they tweet out interesting stuff and enjoy the reception that they get on their updates. But how many of them will take out some time and re-tweet your updates, or even follow you back?

From common sense, if you follow someone who have a hundred thousand followers and follow back a few hundred people, chances are slim that he will follow you back. If someone is following about 5k to 10k people, you have a decent chance of getting in. If an influencer is following about the same number of people that follow him back, you will have no difficulty in getting a follow back.

   Thank you so much for this great list of Twitter Influencers! It came at the perfect time for me. I was not on that platform so much in 2014 because of producing products. I was so focused on that, I had to shave down many of my social sites and activity. I used it sparingly.

   Now I’m back on Twitter once again and this list is golden for me. I do know some people here and will get to know the rest.

    Great list, I follow many of these folks already but I’d have to say I followed (and am following) Guy Kawasaki and Alltop for years not only did I not get followed but never got one thank you or a mention for retweeting the hundreds of times I did.. (I tweet about health, wellness, fitness, modeling, social media and engagement).

    So poor show Guy and a big shame since I really like the dude and his streams. I finally gave up and follow passively and re tweet those who appreciate me.

    Engagement and reciprocity are words to live by.

    I agree Guy’s posts are very good but I somehow fell through the cracks – I’ve interacted with him many times.

    Carol Tice of @TiceWrites is definitely not one who should be on this list she is following 487 with a following of over 11600. Obviously in her writing she did not come across the word reciprocity.

    Great list though I was surprised at just how many I know and interact with (and am followed by) still found a few more who I know I will enjoy meeting.

      While the main idea behind this list is to include people who follow back, but along with that people who engage are important too. Carol tice is an influencer who interacts, engage, retweet and supports her followers.
